Cabrini COM Internship Program
Internships are educational, real-world experiences that are substantial enough to be worthy of academic credit. Internships at Cabrini University are coordinated through our Center for Career and Professional Development (CCPD).
In the COM Department, students enroll in a COM Internship course to receive a letter grade for their performance in the internship, as well as their submission of weekly blog posts and a final research paper based on a topic related to their internship.
COM students must meet the following criteria to apply for an internship:
- 45 college credits (15 of which must be from Cabrini)
- 2.0 GPA or higher
- Internship application (with job description)
- Internship agreement
- Meeting with a CCPD Staff Member
COM internships are typically taken for 2 or 3 credits each semester beginning in a student's junior year.
